Angie Kwong is a provincially licensed and registered Hearing Instrument Practitioner with over 15 years of experience in hearing aid technology and personalized hearing care. Known for her integrity, expertise, and patient-first approach, Angie has earned the trust of both clients and healthcare professionals throughout the Lower Mainland, particularly within the Chinese-speaking community.
Fluent in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin, Angie provides one-on-one care in a professional setting. She personally oversees every stage of the hearing care journey, from assessment to fitting to follow-up, ensuring consistent, personalized service tailored to each client’s unique needs.
Committed to staying at the forefront of hearing aid advancements, Angie delivers customized, effective solutions that help clients hear clearly and confidently. Her approach combines technical precision with a genuine dedication to helping people reconnect with the sounds and conversations that matter most.
Angie earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of British Columbia in 2001 and completed her professional training at Grant MacEwan University in 2014. She also holds a Tinnitus Care Provider Certificate from the International Hearing Society and is a registered member of the College of Health and Care Professionals of British Columbia (CHCPBC), the Hearing Instrument Practitioners Society of British Columbia (HIPSBC), the International Hearing Society (IHS), and the Canadian Hearing Instrument Practitioners Society (CHIPS).

Verna Pyplacz is an experienced Registered Audiologist and Hearing Instrument Practitioner with over 40 years of experience in the hearing aid industry. She graduated from UBC School of Audiology and Speech Sciences and owned 5 of her own hearing clinics over the years. Verna now doing audiology consulting at Central Hearing and specializes in difficult Audiological and Hearing Aid cases. Verna is a longtime member of Speech and Audiology Canada and the BC Speech and Hearing Association. Central Hearing Clinic contracts with Registered Audiologists for the provision of audiology services as required.
